The Kyoto City Bus Service, which started operation in 1928, will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2018. "Let's make a Bus Route Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau 90th Anniversary Edition" is a limited edition version of "Let's make a Bus Route", a board game in which players draw bus routes on a map of Kyoto.

With even more attention to detail, we’ve stuffed this design full of ideas and everything we wanted from a bag for board games, in our pursuit of the perfect way to carry them. We’ve improved the top pocket, added stitching to the side to make it much easier to use, and created a whole new piece of art for the design.

Coffee Roaster is a 1-player board game with a coffee roasting theme. The player works a coffee roaster to make flavorful coffee. Tokens are placed in a cloth bag and each turn tokens are pulled out to represent continued roasting. As a coffee roaster you must determine the best time to stop the roast to hit the target roast level and produce the most flavorful coffee.

Take The “A” Chord is a jazz-themed trick-taking game. Players, as jazz musicians, demonstrate their musical skills on stage.  In this competition through jazz music performance with feelings, such as Bluesy, Lyrical, Soulful, Earthy, and Swingy, you need to do more than to simply pursue victory.  If your performance deviates from the harmony with your band, you will fail to entertain the audience.

The third installment features Seiji Kanai of Kanai-Factory and Kawasaki Factory‘s Susumu Kawasaki. These extended interviews with two incredibly experienced, well-seasoned designers focus on the creative habits we can glimpse through their characteristic differences. These interviews took the longest of the series. The printed edition contains 80% of the whole manuscript, while the note edition contains the full script.

Both designers are the creators of their own unique games, but they also both live in Nagoya and have released works in collaboration.
